A WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented activity that poses a central question. Some or all of the information with which learners interact comes from resources on the internet. The instructional goal of a WebQuest is knowledge acquisition and integration, and extending and refining knowledge. After completing a WebQuest, the learner will have analyzed a body of knowledge, transformed it in someway and demonstrated an understanding of the material on and offline.
