ART

In Art and Computer Graphics Classes at Mountain View students will develop expression, critical thinking and problem solving through production of their own art as well as through analysis of other’s work.  Students will be exposed to a wide range of appropriate media and techniques, and they will come to understand these methods and  media not as an end in itself, but as a means to personal and cultural expression.  They will complete a personal assessment/learning statement at the end of projects for inclusion in a course portfolio; work from this portfolio will be considered for placement into the school wide “Best Work” portfolio.
