Welcome to the McNair Reading Room
Our highest priorities are to develop our students’ ability to read as well as to maintain and increase their love of reading. The ability to read is a skill that benefits our children throughout their lives. Educational research tells us that the more our children read the higher they will achieve academically.
Two of the most beneficial things we can do for our children are to read aloud to them at all ages and provide them with opportunities to read books themselves.
We welcome you to explore the contents of the Reading Room and we hope that you will use the ideas to continue to build your child’s love of reading!
Happy Reading,
The McNair Literacy Team
