McNair in the News

McNair Elementary has earned the Virginia Board of Education Excellence Award, one of only 51 schools in the entire Commonwealth. We won this award for making significant progress toward goals for increased student achievement and expanded educational opportunities. Congratulations to all of the staff and students for their hard work.

McNair Happenings

McNair's EcoClub won NoVA Outside Student Choice Award for their work in recycling, composting, and creating a "green" school.

Third grade classes had a wonderful field trip to Colvin Run Park to learn about simple machines and to see the restored mill at work.
