Welcome back to all of our families! To our new families, I thank you for choosing our school and allowing us to serve you and your children. To all of our returning families, I thank you for your continued belief in our school. It is your continued belief and support that allows our school to more effectively meet the needs of our students year after year.

On September 7, we will open our doors to approximately 1950 students (509 are freshmen). As we look toward greeting our newest Highlanders, we anticipate this being another banner year in MHS history. Our staff is excited about the privilege of working with your children, as we continue to develop ways to improve the quality of education your students receive at McLean. We are focusing on using the best resources and training available to ensure student success. We are committed to assisting them in their learning, guiding them toward graduation, and helping them become successful life-long learners and citizens. Together, we will achieve success for all of our Highlanders. On Tuesday, school will open on a Red Day so all students will report to 1st period. I look forward to another great year!
