On March 13, McLean welcomed Holocaust survivor Henry Greenbaum when he came to tell sophomores his story of life as a teenager during the Holocaust. His story is one of love, loss, cruelty and incredible triumph in the face of tragic events. His visits have become a tradition at McLean, usually coinciding with the sophomore's genocide units.
