Grades 9-12 • Credit: 1
This computer-based course teaches students to use technology efficiently
and effectively to gather and organize information and problem solve tasks.
Intergrating lessions with real-life business applications and cross-curricular
activities will enable the students to become better prepared for life-long learning
and problem solving.
Successful completion of this course in conjunction with a corresponding industry certification may
qualify for a student selected verified credit.

Advanced Information Systems
Grades 10-12 • Credit: 1
Prerequisite: Information Systems or Equivalent Skill/Approval of Instructor.
Learn advanced computer concepts using Microsoft Office Professional.
Units will include an in-depth study of the operating system, presentation
tools, spreadsheets and charting, relational databases, desktop publishing,
integration, and web publishing.
