Database Design and Management I
Grades 11-12 • Credit: 2
Prerequisite: Information Systems or Equivalent Skill/Approval of Instructor.
This is an advanced information technology class that provides complete,
hands-on computer training in data modeling and database application software
with an emphasis on Oracle 9i. Preparation for careers is a major component of this class.

Grades 11-12 • Credit: 2
Prerequisite: Database Design and Management I or Approval of Instructor.
This advanced information technology offers supervised self-study opportunities
for students interested in learning either Oracle Database Fundamentals or Sun/Oracle
Java Programming. Students who have previously passed the Oracle SQL exam and pass the Database
Fundamentals exam will earn the Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) designation.
