New 2012-2013 Honors Courses
On Thursday, January 26, 2012, the Fairfax County School Board voted to introduce five new honors courses for the 2012-2013 school year. Those five courses are World History and Geography 2 Honors, Virginia and United States History Honors, Virginia and United States Government Honors, English 11 Honors, and English 12 Honors.
We have scheduled a school-wide presentation to the entire student body, through our closed circuit TV system, for Monday, February 6, 2012, which will address the registration process. Course registration sheets will be given to all students at that time. Because these were printed prior to the School Board’s decision, the five new courses are not listed as options; however, students will be told how and where to indicate these choices on the sheets.
