Honoring Madison’s Past and Paving the Way to Its Future
Help Build the Madison Courtyard

James Madison High School, a part of the Vienna community since 1959, has just recently completed an extensive renovation program that we can all be proud of. Now, the school’s Environmental Club and its sponsor, Dick Gongaware, with the support of the PTSA, are asking students, parents, alumni and members of the community to help support plans to transform an outdoor area into an out-door classroom and courtyard.

We are asking for you to buy a commemorative brick to leave your stamp at James Madison High School and help make this dream become a reality! These brick pavers with inscriptions will be installed in a court-yard adjacent to a pond/wetland area (with waterfall!) for all to enjoy.

This three-phase project is already underway (on December 9, 2006, students, teachers and other members of the community helped build the pond) and we need your help NOW so we can can have a formal dedication in the Fall of 2007. At this point, we still need to raise $18,000. We also welcome larger contributions from alumni classes, individuals or businesses.
