Next Year's PTA Presidency
The Lynbrook PTA is in need of a new president, vice president, treasurer and secretary for next year. Here is our principal, Mr. Nocco, to tell you more about that. Please consider lending your talents and support to our PTA next year.
Singing and Dancing our Support
Some of the staff at Lynbrook got together to sing and dance their support of our students as they prepare for their SOL tests. Here's the link to this fun video. Enjoy.
It's that time of year and students are preparing to show what they know about Reading, Math, Science and/or Virginia Studies. For all 3rd-6th graders taking the SOL tests beginning May 16th, there are a few things they can do to improve their readiness. Getting plenty of sleep, having a good breakfast, and coming into the test with confidence will increase their chances of doing their best. Please check our calendar on this page to find the dates your child will be testing. We know the students have worked hard all year and we all believe they will do well on their tests.
Congratulations, Lee High School
Did you hear that Lee High School was recently accredited by the AdvancED? Learn more about this here.
Important Early Pick Up Policy
If you need to pick up your child from school before the end of the day, please follow these guidelines:
- Prearrange the pickup by sending a note to your child's teacher. For the safety of our students, telephone and email dismissal changes will not be accepted.
- Come to the office with a photo ID and sign out your child. Your child will be called to the office.
- Pick up your child before 3:00.
After 3:00, all students will be released following our normal dismissal procedures.
