Dear Fellow Parent:
My name is Dave Kendall and I am the president of the LJMS PTA for the 2008-2009 school year. I would like to welcome you as the parent of a new 7th or 8th grade student or welcome you back as the parent of a returning 8th grade student. The PTA meets the 3rd Thursday of every month from October to May at 7:00pm in the LJMS library, excluding December.
This year, we will continue many of the initiatives of previous years at Luther Jackson, while trying to remain focused on the core activities of a PTA. You can find out about these and other activities by checking the LJMS Website, logging onto We Care, receiving emails from the PTA, and/or checking the PTA Bulletin Board in the main office. We will endeavor to keep everyone up to date through current technological methods.
If you have any ideas, comments, suggestions or want to volunteer, please send me an email to me at dkthedj@aol.com or drop us a note in the PTA box in the main office. I am sure with your help that we can continue the fine tradition and reputation that the PTA has here at LJMS!
