The LJMS Young Scholars teamed up with Destination DC to create podcast walking tours of Washington, DC. Focusing on the concept of power, students chose DC attractions that fit several themes, including: The Power of Change, Power of Diversity, Power of Perspective, and the Power of Green. Students engaged n the process of researching, writing narratives, and recording their podcasts. The project further engaged students in creating a real-world product and authentic experience that will potentially be heard and used by people from all over the world. The top podcasts will be showcased on Destination DC's website, www.washington.org.
