Issue - How to load Firefox for an even faster Internet

Tiptoid -

Mozilla Firefox can be a fast browser, but there is a way to load it MUCH faster.
I played with Firefox for 5 hours until I finally figured out how to get pages to load faster.
And I do mean FAST! I explained the process to Andrew, and now he, too, is more time efficient.
Do you want to spend less time waiting for pages to load? Your answer, of course, is "yes!"

Okay, let's get started.

(1) First, you need Mozilla Firefox installed onto your computer. To download, go to www.mozilla.com/firefox.

(2) Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit enter. (Type without quotes.) Scroll down and look for the following entries -
network.http.pipelining.network.http.proxy.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

(3) Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.

(4) Alter the entries as follows -

(a) Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
(b) Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
(c) Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30.
(d) Lastly, right-click anywhere and select New → Integer.
Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" (without quotes) and set its value to "0" (once again, without quotes)
This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.

(5) If you are using a broadband/cable connection, you'll load pages MUCH faster.

Hopefully, after taking these steps, everything on the internet will speed up for you - including downloading files from the internet! Now, get out there and enjoy!
