Have you ever seen body builders on TV? Have you ever imagined looking like them? Well the truth is that some of these heavily muscled people cheat their way to success using steroids. Sadly, too many people get caught up in the hype, take steroids without seeking some medical advice, and end up suffering. Here are some facts about steroids.
1. Steroids were originally designed to treat health conditions.
2. Steroids are drugs that increase skeletal muscle.
3. Steroids can cause increased irritability and aggression.
4. People who inject steroids also run the risk of contracting or transmitting hepatitis or HIV.
5. Some of the health consequences that can occur in both males and females include liver cancer and heart attacks.
There are healthier ways to get stronger and build up your body without using steroids. Here are 5 steps for you to consider.
1. You don't need a lot of equipment. A set of 10 lb dumbbells is a great way to start building your muscles. See a doctor or sports medicine professional for advice.
2. Make sure you establish a muscle building program that suits your needs, and that includes sufficient instructions on how to perform your exercise routines.
3. When exercising, make sure that you have plenty of water to drink. Drink the water frequently.
4. Be patient. Building up strength plus muscle mass takes time. You will also avoid unnecessary pain and injury if you stick to the plan.
5. Most importantly, you need to make sure that you eat a lot of healthy food; such as, carrots, lettuce, apples, meat, milk, vegetables, and fruit.
Carlos and I are on our way to muscle city, and we're doing it the healthy way. Don't you be influenced by the so-called positive impact of steroids that you see and read about in the media. Don't take steroids!
