Topic - Runescape Online Video Game

I was searching the internet recently and I found a fun multiplayer game called Runescape. Here are the basics on how to get started.
• Go to the Runescape website (http://www.runescape.com) and click new user to make a free basic account.
• After reading the terms and agreements, you can choose a user name. This can be difficult. If you are having trouble, you have the option to ask for a username. Then choose a password.
• When the game loads, click existing user to log in. You will be taken to Tutorial Island.
• Start your Runescape adventure by creating your character. Click the buttons to change your looks.
5. After creating your character, talk to the people with arrows over their heads. They are guides who will help you through the tutorial. Also, watch the bar at the bottom of the screen. It will show you your Tutorial Island progress.
6. Talk to the Welcome Guide. He will send you to your first instructor, the Survival Expert, who will teach you to make fire, cook fish, and chop down trees.
7. The next instructor, the Master Chef, will teach you to bake bread and use a stove.
8. The next instructor, the Quest Guide, will teach you about the various quests that you can complete to earn skill points and money. Some quests have requirements, so make sure you meet them. The Dragon Slayer quest is hardest. DO IT LAST!!
9. When you are done, climb down the ladder and go under ground to meet the next two instructors. The Mining Instructor will teach you how to mine rocks and smelt weapons. The Combat Instructor will show you how to do melee and range combat (using such weapons as a bow and arrow). As you progress through various adventures, you will be able to smelt more metals and wield more powerful weapons.
10. In the next area, you will learn about banking and how to make money from the Financial Instructor. (Hint - armor and weapons shops will buy any weapons or armor you make.)
11. Your next instructor, Brother Brace, will teach you how prayer can protect you and help you in battle, depending on your character's prayer level and points. Brother Brace will also tell you about the rules, friends, and ignore lists.
12. The next instructor is the Magic Instructor. He will teach you all about magic combat and runes (ancient stones that are the source of all magic). As you progress, you will be able to do more than just magic combat. You will be able to teleport and summon minions for battle.
When you have finished your adventure, the Magic Instructor will teleport you to the mainland. You are on you own from there.
This game is entertaining and exiting. I hope you try it. If you do, have fun, and good luck!
Other information - There are guides in the city of Lumbridge where you begin your journey. Look for question marks on your mini map located on the top right corner of the game screen.
You can also upgrade to a member's account for $5.00 a month where you will get more quests and more map space. I do not recommend the upgrade for beginners. I would complete the free quests first.
Note - This game has strict rules about offensive language and unruly behavior. So, PLAY NICE!
