Issue - How to activate the Microsoft pop-up blocker

Tiptoid -

Want to stop getting those annoying pop-ups on your webpages? Pop-ups are distracting, and some of them are inappropriate for certain age groups. Ingrid and I experienced this situation too often. So we decided to take action! We wondered if Microsoft had a pop-up blocker setting, and, yes, we finally found one.

Here's what you can do to activate the Microsoft pop-up blocker.

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click on the tools menu on the upper bar
  3. Scroll down to pop-up blockers
  4. Click the pop-up blocker setting
  5. Select the high icon in the box on the bottom

You should be aware that Microsoft continually updates its pop-up blocker software.

Now that pop-ups are out of your computer life, searching and reading stuff on the internet is more convenient and relaxing!
