Issue - Websites that empower females

Hafsa and I were surfing the web, recently, looking for websites that cater to teenage girls. We wanted to find information about some of the struggles girls our age face everyday, and learn how to deal with these struggles.
The following websites offer lots of information, reference books, and articles about how to overcome the kinds of issues teen girls these days face, and how we can become more self-confident and resourceful.
www.mediaandwomen.org increases awareness of how pop culture and media represent, affect, employ, and serve girls and women.
www.girlsinc.org inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.
www.girlsforachange.com empowers girls to create social change.
www.commercialexploitation.org shows the harmful effects of marketing to children through action, advocacy, education, research, and collaboration.
www.dadsanddaughters.org helps overcome obstacles encountered by girls and women.
Teen girls and females in general have to deal with many gender-specific issues in today's world. Hafsa and I hope you will visit these female-empowering sites.
We are glad we have had the opportunity to spread the word to other girls our age who may be facing the same problems we are.
