Issue - How blogging can help you get a new job

A few days ago I was going through my mother's collection of favorite news and magazine articles. An article in The Wall Street Journal that caught my eye was called “How Blogging Can Help You Get a Job.” I was very intrigued because, of course, I want to get a decent job one day.
This article has really encouraged me to want to set up my own blog. It focused on how to encourage and persuade companies, and other interested people, to seek out and read my blog. The article suggested that in my blog I -
An updated blog shows that I am dedicated to my goals, and informs viewers and recruiters of my strong character. That's crucial to successfully getting that job you want.
After studying this topic and realizing how creating my own career-focused blog could give me a jump-start in the real world, I actually feel quite future-focused and empowered. This feeling is very encouraging as I begin the next phase of my life – high school!
