My imagination is a place of escape. Although it is located inside our world, it is actually hidden in a labyrinth in a parallel dimension where only I can enter. Inside the labyrinth is a secret passageway which leads to a happy and peaceful garden. I smell the fresh air, sweet to the tongue and crisp to the nose. It bites, refreshes and renews. Warm soothing air beats down from the yellow sun.

The garden is covered with foliage and flowers. My imagination climbs up the walls, adds color to my hair, and wraps the neck of a unicorn in a wreath. I hear the breathing of a silk-like ocean, far far away. Lines loop back and forth, but always connect, somehow, so that the cycle of life continues peacefully.

Everything for me is soft and fluffy in my imagination, so that when I go “poof,” I know it is safe to return to reality.

My Spirit, My Declaration

Beautiful freedom, peaceful people.
