After School Program 2009-2010

For more information about Luther Jackson's After School Program, please contact Christine Lyons, after school program specialist, at (703) 204-8218 or Christine.Lyons@fcps.edu.

Students are to get permission from their parent or guardian before they stay after. If students stay for the late activity period, they report to the activity and the attendance is taken by 3:00. We are able to verify at this time that your child stayed after school. The students are dismissed at 4:10 p.m to go to the cafeteria for dismissal to the buses. If you plan to pick your child up rather than having your child ride the bus, you must make arrangements with your child in the morning to have them meet you at the Kiss and Ride in front of the building at 4:10. We are unable to get a message to your child before that time.

Our primary concern is to get your child home in a safe and timely manner. We appreciate your cooperation in following these procedures.
