The Longfellow Middle School Library strives for excellence and embraces opportunity. As an innovative partner in the pursuit of academic excellence and a leader in providing dynamic information services, Longfellow Middle School Library provides physical places that welcome and contribute to research and learning; works in partnership with the staff and community; acquires, manages, presents, provides access and preserves information resources that support research, scholarship, artistic endeavors, and promotes a lifelong love of reading and appreciation of literature.

The Longfellow Middle School Library is an integral component of a world-class learning community. Librarians work in partnership with members of the staff and community to create and share knowledge, extend the boundaries of digital library research, and help to develop an informed community of lifelong learners.
