Third Grade Supply List 2007-08

For All Third Grade Students:

(In the third grade many school supplies are shared as community supplies. You do not need to label your items with your student’s name. We will label all personal items at school)

  • 1 standard size backpack (no rolling bags)
  • 2 boxes of sharpened #2 pencils (12-24 per box)
  • 2 large pink erasers
  • 2 dry erase markers (blue or black)
  • 1 box of crayons (24 pack)
  • 1 box of "classic colors" markers (8 pack)
  • 1 box of "fine line" markers (12 pack)
  • 1 box of colored pencils (12 pack)
  • 2 highlighters
  • 1 -8oz. Elmer's glue
  • 6 glue sticks
  • 1 pair of blunt Fiskars (kid-scissors)
  • 1 standard size plastic pencil box
  • 6 2-pocket folders (solid colored plain fonts)
    • 1 red
    • 1 blue
    • 1 green
    • 1 yellow
    • 1 purple
    • 1 orange
  • 8wide ruled single subject "composition notebooks"
  • 1 package of wide ruled notebook paper
  • 1 letter sixe clipboard
  • 3 large boxes of tissues
  • 2 boxes of gallon size Ziplock bags
  • 1 pack of Post-it Notes (regular)
  • $5.00 CASH for Social Studies Weekly newspaper

This newspaper has been ordered for all third graders. It will be used as a teaching tool for reading as well as for introducing new concepts in social studies.
