Third Grade Supply List 2011-2012

 

For All Third Grade Students:

In the third grade MOST school supplies are shared.

Please DO NOT label your supplies.

 

• 1 standard size backpack (no rolling bags)
• 1 - 1 inch binder with pockets
• 3 boxes of #2 pencils (12-24 per box)
• 2 large pink erasers
• 1 box of crayons (24 pack ONLY)
• 1 box of “classic colors” markers (8 pack)
• 1 box of “fine line” markers (12 pack)
• 1 box of colored pencils (12 pack)
• 2 EXPO "dry erase" markers
• 10 glue sticks
• 1 bottle of Elmers liquid "school glue"
• 1 pair of blunt Fiskars (kid-scissors)
• 1 standard size plastic pencil box
• 3 PLASTIC folders with POCKETS (solid color ONLY)
• 6 wide ruled single subject “composition notebooks”
• 1 package of wide ruled notebook paper
• 1 letter size WOODEN clipboard
• 2 large boxes of tissues
• 1 box of gallon size Ziplock bags
• 1 box of quart size Ziplock bags

Below is a list of field trip ideas for next year. Please DO NOT send in any money.

These trips have not been finalized.

1. Luray Caverns in the 1st Semester - $30 per student & $30 per chaperone
2. Frying Pan Park (1st Semester) - $4 per student & $4 per chaperone
3. Richmond Science Museum (2nd Semester) - $40 per student and $40 per chaperone
4. Port Discovery (2nd Semester) - $40 per student & $40 per chaperone
