The Library Media Center contains a great variety of instructional materials. Become familiar with its contents and use information which is related to the program objectives for which you are planning. plan ahead for blocks of work and communicate with the librarians to determine which media are available. Students in grade k-6 will have scheduled times for library visits. Teachers may schedule additional visits to the library for whole class research as time allows. Small groups of children may conduct research at any time. Please inform the librarian of your need.
In order to assure maximum utilization of the library and to minimize loss of library books, teachers will help children become responsible library users.
- Kindergarten and first grade students may check out two (2) books.
-Second through sixth grade students may check out three (3) books.
-Books are due one week from the day they are checked out.
-Encyclopedias may not be checked out to be taken home.
