First Grade Supply List

Listed below are the items your child will need for first grade. If you have any questions, please contact London Towne at 703-227-5400. Please do not put your child's name on any of the supplies as we share all of our tools in first grade.

$ 5.00 cash for the purchase of a classroom news magazine. (Your child's teacher will provide specific information)

4 boxes of 24 Crayola crayons

10 Elmer's Glue sticks

2 packs of 10 thin Crayola markers ("Classic" colors)

2 packs of 10 standard Crayola markers ("Classic" colors)

One Standard 3 ring, 1 inch binder with pockets (No Trapper Keepers)

4 solid color paper pocket folders (one of each red, yellow, green, blue) with 3 hole brackets (No designs, please!)

Girls bring: One large box of gallon size Ziploc plastic bags

Boys bring: One large box of quart size Ziploc plastic bags

One 8 ounce size anti-bacterial gel (not soap)

2 containers of Clorox wipes

One dozen Pencils

Two boxes of Kleenex or Puffs facial tissues

One dozeb black fine tip writing pens (Prefer Bic or Sanford 20/20)

We are planning several field trips to enrich our learning during the school year. Do not send any money in now, but please budget about $25.00 for the entire school year. Possible trips may include a play at GMU theater, a trip to a farm to study animals, Washington D.C. tour of Memorials and even our local fire station.
