A band that will play different styles of popular music, such as swing, blues, and rock. The band will consist of saxophones, trumpets, trombones, and rhythm section (guitar, bass, piano, drum set, and auxiliary percussion).
Open to all Liberty MS students by audition. We are looking for motivated and dedicated students to make this group a success! The ability to read music is necessary.

Math Counts |
Meets in January, but it becomes every Wednesday in order to prepare for the competition which is held in February |
MATHCOUNTS is a regional/national middle school competition that is held annually in February where students from middle schools in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area compete to progress to the national competition. In MATHCOUNTS we complete various problems and learn strategies in Mathematics. We learn to be a team and enjoy the rewards of Math. |

The five qualities for membership are scholarship (a 3.7 GPA at the end of the 3 rd quarter for 7 th graders), service, leadership, character and citizenship. Our theme for the year is team development. Our culminating activity is a day at Hemlock Overlook. |
