Student Rights and Responsibilities review. Every year the teachers and administrators at Lemon Road review the SR&R booklets with your students to make sure they understand the rights they have as members of the school community and how those balance out with the responsibilities they have. Attention Parents of rising Sixth Graders:
Prior to entering sixth grade all students in Virginia are required to receive a booster does of Tdap vaccine if at least five years have passed since the last dose of tetanus toxoid-containing vaccine (DTP, DTaP, DT or Td). The Tdap booster can be obtained from your child's physician or for free from the Fairfax County Health Department. Clinic locations and information is available in English | Spanish
Your child cannot begin sixth grade in the fall without documentation of having had the Tdap booster or having had a tetanus-containing vaccine within the past five years. Unless we have proof that your child has met the immunization requirements your child will not be assigned a teacher! Please bring documentation into the school office immediately.
