
Graduation date and time has been changed. Graduation will be held June 23, 2010 at the Patriot Center at 7:30 p.m., instead at Robinson SS on June 21 at 7:30 p.m.
Freshman Orientation Day will be held on Friday, September 25, 2009. The freshmen will be involved in a day-long program at Lee that is designed to provide a framework for a successful high school experience. The Peer Mediators and the Lancer Leaders will conduct sessions by way of skits and a video to address the six components of the Lancer Code of Conduct: Honesty, Responsibility, Cooperation, Respect, Caring, and Self-Discipline. Snacks and lunch will be provided.
We at lee would like to welcome Lori Barb as our new Director of Student Activities!
Ms. Barb has worked in Fairfax County Public Schools for a number of years as teacher, department chair, and coach. She worked as PE Department Chair at Lee High School from August 1989 to June of 2000 and then moved to Annandale High School for five years, still as PE Department Chair. In 2005 Ms. Barb moved to Woodson High School again as PE Department Chair, but began work on and completed her administrative degree at Virginia Tech and began taking on administrative roles. Over the past few years, Ms. Barb has served as acting Assistant Principal, coordinated graduation, been part of the School Improvement Plan, served on the IB committee, and successfully performed administrative duties.
