English Department

Overview

Teachers in the English Department believe that understanding and using language is fundamental to becoming productive members of society. The department encourages all students to become proficient in the reading, writing, speaking, listening, and viewing skills that are basic to a successful life.

Three student publications (the yearbook, the literary magazine, and the monthly newspaper) are led by members of the English Department as well.
