
The Art curriculum is based on the assumption that art education is a fundamental part of the total education of each student. We assume that each student has a natural creative ability that can be nurtured through knowledge about and appreciation of the world of art as well as through individual creative problem solving.
Lee High School has a chapter of the National Art Honor Society. Membership dues are $10.00. All members must maintain a B average in their art classes. Meetings are held after school, the 2nd Monday of the month in Ms. O'Shaughnessy's room, 241. Please see Ms. O'Shaughnessy for more information.
Come join other art-minded students (computer graphics included!) to create art and exchange ideas. Independent art projects are encouraged! The Art Club meets the 3rd Monday of each month in room 241. Membership dues are $5. Please see Mrs. O'Shaughnessy for more details.
