Born and mainly raised in Oneida, Tennessee, a small town in the Cumberland Mountains of East Tennessee. Graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth and Environmental Science Education with a minor in physics and geology. Earned Master of Education degree in Educational Administration from the University of Virginia in 1993. Completed coursework for Ph.D. (ABD) in Education Policy from Ohio State University in 2003.
Taught physics, physical science, earth science, and chemistry in high schools in Virginia, Tennessee, Ohio, and Maryland and worked as an administrator in Tennessee, Ohio, and Virginia. Currently in 17th year as an educator. Has a passion for public education and great love for high school and everything that makes high schools what they are and very excited to be the principal instructional leader of Robert E. Lee High School
Hobbies include spending time at school, hiking, biking (especially mountain biking), fishing, reading, cooking, and wood carving. My wife and I have two dogs (Cairn Terriers) and one cat and we enjoy spending time together, and that time is ever more precious.

Mr. Johnson grew up in Fairfax County, Virginia. He received his B.A. from the College of William and Mary, a M. of Ed. in School Administration from Virginia Tech University; He has worked in the Fairfax County Public Schools System for twenty-five years as a teacher, coach, department chair, and an administrator.

Mrs. Katz grew up in Rockland County, New York. She received her B.A. in History from Northwestern University, a M. of Ed. in Developmental and Remedial Reading from The Pennsylvania State University, and her Administrative Certification from the University of Virginia. She has worked in the Fairfax County Public Schools System for twenty years as a high school history teacher, a Social Studies department chair, and an administrator. She is married with two grown daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and babysitting her three grandchildren.

Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Russell attended North Carolina Central University for undergraduate school where she received a degree in history with minors in German and sociology. After teaching for several years both in the U.S and abroad, she continued her education at Virginia Tech where she completed both her Masters and Doctorate degrees. Here hobbies include traveling, reading, writing, and culinary arts.

Ms. Eldridge grew up in Alabama and Florida. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Troy University. Ms. Eldridge and her family have lived in Europe and stationed at numerous military posts across the United States. Ms Eldridge values the time she spends with family and friends. She enjoys walking, bicycling, and attending student events at Lee High School.

Originally from Texarkana Texas, Mr. Walker came to this area as a clerical employee of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 1970. He was drafted into the US Army and served from 1972 until 1975 when he was honorably discharged and returned to the FBI in June of 1975. In November of 1977 he joined the Fairfax County Police Department where he worked in Patrol, Fairfax County Police Department's Motorcycle Unit, and as SRO at Lake Braddock Secondary until he retired in March of 1999. After his retirement from the Police Department, he worked as a Security Assistant at Lake Braddock Secondary until he was hired here at Lee in December of 1999.
