The Performing Arts Department provides students with opportunities to develop talents in music and drama. A variety of experiences at both the local and state levels is available, from small ensemble performances to large combined performances both on and off campus. Courses are available for both beginning and advanced level students. These include Beginning Chorus, Drama, Concert Band, Madrigals, Wind Ensemble, IB Music, IB Theater, Guitar, and Chamber Orchestra. Over 25 percent of Lee students participate in one of our musical groups. They perform concerts throughout the year and participate in a national competition. Drama students produce one major play and musical each year.
