1. Attention all seniors: Senior Surveys go through May 15th. Please remember to bring all scholarship and financial aid information with you to complete your survey.
2. Attention all students who plan on attending summer school, summer school registration booklets are in. Please see your counselor to receive a book and for registration information. Registration for summer school starts Monday through June 24th. Registering as early as possible is encouraged.
3. Seniors: Prom tickets will be sold during all lunches and in room 158 after school. Tickets will be sold for $35.00 a person and $65.00 a couple until Friday, May 16th. After that, prices will increase so get your tickets early. If you haven’t already done so, get your permission slips from Ms. Morris or Mr. Peduzzi as soon as possible. All attendees need permission slips in order to attend. No one 21 years or older may attend prom.
4. Boy’s JV soccer players: You will have your team meeting Thursday at 3:30 pm. Meet in room 137 with your uniforms and bags.
5. National Quality Products will be returning to take class ring orders on: Today and Wednesday. You may place your order during all lunches in the cafeteria. Orders will be taken for all sophomore, juniors and seniors who have not yet placed an order during all lunches in the cafeteria. A $30.00 deposit is needed at the time the order is placed. Brochures are available in the front office.
6. Juniors: Ready to become a leader in the school? Ready to pass on your knowledge to underclassmen? Ready to make a difference? Are you reliable, energetic, and have time to spend with a freshman? Then you are ready to be a Lancer Leader. Application can be found outside Ms. Madrid's room (room 156). Please pick them up soon…applications are due early next week and you don't want to miss you chance to save the world one freshman at a time.
7. Officers for the class of 2009 will meet Wednesday at 2:15 in Mr. Slocumb’s room.

Wednesday, May 14 is the last chance for the Lady Lancers Basketball teams to turn in their money and left over tickets for the Awards Banquet. Turn in will take place directly after school in the main lobby, to Ms. Smith.

English 11 students! There are only two days left of SOL prep -- tomorrow and Monday. Come both days to lab 218 (at the end of Junior hall) for online practice for next week's SOL. Snacks will be provided!

10. The following students were honored at an Award Luncheon at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond on May 9: Diane Ong, Virginia Winner of the Fall InvestWrite Essay Competition. First Place Team in the Stock Market Game Mutual Fund Challenge 2007-2008 (1st out of 67 teams) Members include: Sandeep Bhopal, Sharon Kaur, Katlin Hansen, Katherine Wade.

Attention French students! FHS applications are due today at 3:00. Please put completed applications in Madame Green's mailbox in the office or give to Madame Lewis by 3:00 today. Merci!

12. Attention Lancer athletes: Mark your calendars for the Sports physicals at Lee this year on Wednesday May 28th 5 to 7pm. Please see Mrs. Miller in the athletic training room ASAP for information on how to pre-register for a physical at Lee. Pre-registered athletes will have preference before walk-ins this year.

Attention Forensics & Debate Team leaders: Don't forget we have an important meeting right after school on Wednesday in Mrs. Fulton's room!!! Please be on time. If you can't make the meeting, please see Mrs. Fulton.

Troubadour will be having a very important meeting on WED, May 14 in room 210 at 2:20. This will be our last meeting before the magazine goes to press on FRI. See Mrs. Gilbert if you can't make it.

15. The Lee High School Chorus Boosters presents Broadway Desserts “Viva Las Vegas” on Saturday, May 17th. Desserts will be served at 7:15 in the Lobby and the Curtain will go up at 8:00. Presale tickets (adults $8.00, students and senior citizens are $5.00) will be available through Friday, the 16th until 2:30 pm. All tickets purchased at the door will be $10.00.
16. For the recent Art and Technology Competition, Lee High School had 4 winners from our art department which is more than any other high school in the district. Congratulations to Michael Mugno for his 3rd place win in Digital Photography. He received a $300 scholarship for his photograph last night at the awards ceremony. Fiorella Ferrando and Marina Kessenich also won $100 scholarships for their Honorable Mentions in digital photography. Congratulations also go to Theo Leiss for an Honorable Mention in Digital Art. He received a $100 scholarship as his prize.
