Synergistic Lab

EACH STAFF MEMBER IN THE DEPARTMENT IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING AN EXCEPTIONAL
LEARNING ENVIRONMENT  AND INSTRUCTION THAT  IS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY,
MEETS COUNTY AND STATE STANDARDS OF LEARNING
AND PREPARES EACH STUDENT FOR THE FUTURE.

Officer Gil (School Resource Officer) explains the technology in a police car to Lanier technology students.

The technology department is divided into three sections.  A 7th grade Technology Tools (Wheel) class,  a 7th grade Synergistics Technology Education "Inventions & Innovations" (Wheel) class , an 8th grade advanced Technology Tools class and an 8th grade Synergistics Technology Education "Technology Systems" (Elective) class.

The Technology Tools class provides students with skills in Word Processing, spreadsheets, data bases, presentation software (Power Point), keyboarding and internet skills.

The Synergistics Technology Education  classes , using state of the art Synergistics Labs, engage students in a rich lab environment that expose them to technologies in use around the world today.
