Advanced Placement Boost Camp
On Thursday, August 23rd, 2012, Langley High School will conduct a one-day workshop for sophomores, juniors, and seniors taking an Advanced Placement (AP) course during the 2012-13 school year. The day is in two parts: in the morning, there will be sessions covering reading for an AP class, writing for an AP class, and test-taking skills; in the afternoon, there will be breakout sessions for sophomores taking AP World History. Lunch will be provided by the SGA for students who sign up for the full day.

Math Summer Boot Camp
During the math summer boot camp at Langley High School, students will review fundamental algebraic and geometric concepts while working on critical thinking and problem solving skills. Students will receive lessons that are hands-on and interactive. The program is taught by Langley HS math teachers and students will receive continuous feedback throughout the camp.

Common Application Boot Camp
Langley Student Services Department is happy to announce a new program this summer for Rising Seniors. Common Application Boot Camp! For one week and $75.00 students will learn the art of personal essay writing, create their college admissions essay and receive feedback, complete the Common Application, discover organizational tips to help meet college deadlines, and get a crash course on how to use Family Connections.
