Langley High School operates on a rotating block schedule. Students attend four classes each day. Three of the four classes are block classes that meet for 100 minutes. The fourth class- seventh period- meets every day for 50 minutes. The Green-Gold Schedule is used to designate which classes meet on a particular day. Odd numbered class periods (1, 3, and 5) meet on Green Days and even numbered class (2, 4, and 6) periods meet on Gold Days.

The Green-Gold Schedule is also a "static" schedule- it does not change during the school year. If schools are closed due to inclement weather, the classes scheduled on the day of the closure are skipped. The day that students return after a closure is already set in the schedule.
