As you probably know, FCPS approved the calendar change to make June 15, 2012 the last day of school. This change will necessitate additional team planning time to rework end of year course timelines. As such, we are extending the last Wednesday late start date to May 2, 2012 (previously April 25).

Therefore, on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, school will begin at 8:20 a.m.

Beginning Wednesday, May 9, and every Wednesday after that until the end of the school year, school will begin at 7:20.

There is no change to bus schedules.

We expect this news will be well received by students and that it will not impact your family's schedule negatively.

Please make a note of the change. We will post the information on our website and make announcements in several ways here at school.
