Langley High is excited about launching a student-to-student mentoring program for our school that will strive to enhance our school’s climate and will also help provide a positive transition for our freshmen students. We will be partnering with Core Trainings, a company that specializes in mentoring and leadership in schools, who will be providing systems, trainings and support to Langley HS.

Our Peer to Peer Mentoring Program will give every incoming freshmen student the opportunity to be mentored by an upperclassman! It will involve the leadership of our upper-classmen, who will be recommended and selected because of their positive efforts already at our high school. Student mentors will participate in year-round mentorship training and coaching. The mentors will then work with teams of freshmen monthly to assist them throughout their first year of high school. We are especially excited about the program as studies show that schools and students involved in peer mentoring improve grades, attendance and outlook on life!
