Tuesday through Friday: 9:15 a.m. - 3:55 p.m.

Please do not plan to arrive at school in the morning until 9:05 a.m. Teachers are not in their classrooms until that time and there is no supervision for children. The only exceptions are students who attend SACC or students who wish to eat breakfast at school. Breakfast will be served beginning
at 8:45 a.m. |

Our Main Office is the gateway to reaching anyone at Lane by telephone. Our Office Assistants can assist you with questions or concerns or can connect you with the appropriate person. In order to limit interruptions and preserve instructional and/or work time, we do not make classroom or individual office extensions available to the public. You may reach individual staff voice mail through the Main Office.
Phones are manned between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day. After hours you can leave a message on our answering machine and someone will return your call in a timely manner.

Attendance Line: 703-924-7777
You may call our automated Attendance Line anytime, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to report your child absent or tardy. Simply leave a message. A call to this number will prevent a call from our office staff when your child is marked absent. Please leave all the information requested when you call. You can also e-mail us at LaneES.Attendance@fcps.edu to report your child's absence.
Contacting Specific Staff Members
To preserve the quality of instructional time, we do not interrupt staff members with telephone calls during the school day. If you need to speak with your child’s teacher, please call the Main Office number and our office staff will transfer you to his or her voice mail, where you can leave a message. The best way to contact most staff members is through e-mail.
