Daisy Troop Beautifies
Our School Grounds

We want to thank Daisy Troop 2451 for giving back to our community.  The girls assisted in the maintenance of our school grounds.  While they were outside they talked about the importance of keeping trash in the receptacles, what happens to trash when there is water runoff -- as a result of precipitation, and how each of us (individually) can add up to make a difference.

Multiage Class Becomes
Published Authors!

Congratulations to Ms. Groeneweg’s multiage class and art teacher Ms. Doman for winning Scholastic Books’ 2011 “Kids Are Authors” competition in the nonfiction category. Just to enter this prestigious contest is a major challenge; a win is truly exceptional!  Their book, The Perfect Place for an Elf Owl, will be published by Scholastic Books and will be on sale at Scholastic Book Fairs next year across the country. They are all published authors!
