International Night

Welcome to Lane Elementary’s International Night page!

Here you'll find all the information you need to share your family's culture with our Lane family on this very special night!

Detailed information was sent home with all students, but here are the basics:

Join us for a Taste of Lane

Date: Thursday, February 23rd
Time: 6:30 - 8 p.m.
Location: Lane Elementary School

Come enjoy a “taste” of Lane at our third annual International Night! There will be a showcase of food and entertainment from countries from all over the world, brought to you by our Lane families.

Many exhibit booths will have tasty international treats for you to try, but remember this will be a sampling. Please plan to eat dinner at home.

Please see the flier below for participation information. We invite all families to participate!

International Night Participation Form

Performances will take place in the Gym and the Cafeteria throughout the evening.
We will create a schedule once we find out how many students wish to perform.

This is an event for the whole family, but please remember that
all children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and must follow the school rules.

We hope to see you on February 23rd!

Set Up, Clean Up, & Volunteer Information

Country display set-up begins at 6 p.m. in the Gym and the Cafeteria.
If you would like to bring food, remember “finger-food” is best. Please bring any food by 6:30 p.m. No serving utensils or paper products will be provided by the school.
Families must provide all napkins, plates, cups, serving spoons, etc. needed.

Clean up begins promptly at 8 p.m. and all displays must be cleaned up by the end of the evening and everything must be removed from the Cafeteria and the Gym.
