What benefit does Lake Braddock students, parents, faculty, and the community-at-large receive from the Boosters Club and its activities?

The Boosters Club provides much of the financial resources for the athletic programs to support the purchase of equipment and uniforms as well as the maintenance of and longer-term investment in Lake Braddock fields and facilities. Physical education students and the community-at-large benefit from many of these purchases.
With safe equipment and quality facilities, Lake Braddock students can aspire to achieve their personal best in the sport of their choice, develop leadership skills and personal values through training and self-discipline, and expand their knowledge.
At the end of each season, Lake Braddock student athletes are recognized for their participation during the sports banquet. Coaches take this opportunity to recognize their team's accomplishments as well as individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and performance.
Annually, the Booster Club recognizes selected graduating student athletes with scholarships to assist in their academic pursuits while rewarding their participation in high school sports.
With availability of Lake Braddock clothing and other products at an affordable price, students, parents, faculty, and members of the community can proudly show their school spirit and love for the Bruins.

How can the Boosters Club provide so much financial support to the athletic programs?

Outstanding parent volunteers operate the concession stands at home events, support Boosters Club membership drives, and sponsor a golf tournament and other sports-related activities.
Dedicated officers of the Boosters Club Board lead an organization that is focussed on promoting and supporting Lake Braddock athletic programs.
