In January of 2013, the Lake Braddock High School Counseling program has met the criteria again to become a Recognized ASCA Model Program by the American School Counselor Association.  The Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) designation is awarded to schools that align with the criteria set by the ACSA national model.  A RAMP designated school counseling program must demonstrate a comprehensive, data-driven program that meets the needs of all students, and the designation is held for three years.  Approximately 400 school counseling programs have received the RAMP designation nationally.

VISION:

The vision of the Lake Braddock Counseling Staff is for all students to attain their maximum potential in the areas of academic achievement, personal development, and post-secondary planning through data driven programs which promote personal responsibility, respect, integrity, and service to others.
