Former Lake Braddock Student  Amy Donovan's  National Award winning Digital Art Work has been selected to be on display at the Department of Education in DC for the upcoming school year. Amy is now attending Randolph Macon College in Virginia. Congrats to Amy!

Description of the Lake Braddock High School FINE ARTS program.

The Fine Arts program at Lake Braddock High School offers studio art classes in 2-D and 3-D art media, Photography, and Computer Graphics, as well as Advanced Placement Art History. Art 1 is the prerequisite for all other studio art electives. Along with art production, classes incorporate art history, art criticism, aesthetics, and career information. Students have numerous opportunities to showcase their self-expression in school exhibits, art shows in the Laura P. Thomas gallery located in our school, and various competitions. The program helps students prepare an art portfolio for entrance into a college program. Art history classes are highly academic and prepare students for the Advanced Placement Art History exam.
