AP SCORES

AP scores are mailed from College Board directly to students' homes in July. We do not have individual student scores available at Lake Braddock. SENIOR 2008 CLASS INFORMATION

END OF THE YEAR DOCUMENTS!

INFORMATION from the 100 DAYS MEETING

Class of 2008!!!

Dear Families of Lake Braddock Seniors,

We have a special message to communicate to you. Please read through it carefully as there are a number of important dates for you to get on the calendar.

CLASS OF 2008 SENIORS:

Semester grades and your new mid-year GPA will be sent automatically to all of the colleges

you requested on your transcript release form. These colleges are shown in your Family

Connection account. You do not need to request these grades be sent or give us a college-specific form for mid year grades. These grade reports, generated by Fairfax County, show only your semester grade for the courses you are currently taking and your new cumulative GPA. These reports will be mailed in bulk by February 15th.

Every senior must have a semester grade for every credit course, i.e., no incompletes.

Some colleges, such as UVA, UNC Chapel Hill and the University of California require students to self-report their grades-please see Mrs. Morehouse if you need to see your grades.

The only reason your grades would not be sent would be if you have withdrawn your application from a college (mandatory if you were accepted Early Decision to a school) or decided not to apply to a college. Please notify Mrs. Morehouse either in the guidance office or at Carol.Morehouse1@fcps.edu if you have withdrawn an application from a college or have decided not to apply to a college listed on your release form so your grades will not be sent to those colleges.

Please ensure your semester grades accurately reflect all the classes you are taking and the correct grades. Grade changes must be coordinated through your teachers, NOT through your counselor. If you are expecting a grade change, it will need to be processed by your teacher by Friday, February 8th. In addition, please notify Mrs. Morehouse as soon as possible of the class and teacher where you expect the grade change(s) so the correct information will be mailed to your colleges.
Sincerely,

David F. Thomas
Principal
