I am proud to serve as the Subschool 3 Principal at Lake Braddock Secondary School . My supervisory responsibilities include all high school students with last names beginning with A-D. My previous successful experiences as a teacher, assistant principal, Army Colonel and parent of an LBSS graduate provide me with a unique perspective for this role. In Subschool 3, we encourage students to think creatively and critically in preparation for participation in a global society. Our goal is to ensure that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
I also provide instructional leadership for the English and Tech Ed. Departments as well as the AVID program. Teachers in these departments are professionals with work experience in their chosen fields and have a love for teaching. They understand the important role education plays in the lives of our students both now and in the future. My assistant, Mrs. Stacey Davis, working with counselors Mr. John Way , Mrs. Jody Ward and Mrs. Bonnie Allison, share with me a commitment to maintain an open line of communication.
