Ms. Rottenecker has served as subschool principal at Lake Braddock since 1999. She first joined the staff as middle school administrator and has now moved to Subschool 4 in the high school. She serves those students whose last names end in E through K, and supervises the foreign language department.
Ms. Rottenecker’s professional background includes teaching students with learning disabilities in Prince William and Fairfax Counties. She chaired the special education department at Hayfield Secondary School, and served as administrator at Joyce Kilmer and Carl Sandburg Middle Schools. She also spent one year teaching in England through the Fulbright Teacher Exchange Program. Through all of her experiences she believes that students share common dreams and aspirations. “It is our job to help our students realize their potential and achieve their goals. Lake Braddock is an excellent school in which to do that.”
