CYNTHIA PRIETO - ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

Cindy Prieto

I have been an assistant principal at Lake Braddock since 2005. I am proud to be the principal of Subschool 6, working with high school students whose last names start with R-Z.  I am also the instructional leader for the high school Math department and the high school and middle school Performing Arts department (Music and Theatre).
Prior to becoming a Bruin, I taught high school math and Spanish for fourteen years and was an

administrator for five years.  My professional experiences and training include teaching in Surrey County, England, Chantilly High School and Mount Vernon High School, FCPS.  These, in addition to being born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, as a student in international schools, have given me some wonderful skills and strengths with which to champion students and learning.  
I welcome you to join the Lake Braddock team working with your child. For a student to remain engaged and interested, relationships are essential and communication is critical.  Please feel free to call or email with any question or concern.  Every effort will be made to give you a complete and timely response.
