Lake Braddock has been my home since 2001. I feel fortunate that my experiences here as an AP U.S. History teacher, Class Sponsor, School Improvement Plan committee member, and Assessment Coach, have all led me to my current position as the sub-school 5 principal.
I believe all students are born with a powerful desire to learn. Everything we do as teachers and parents must ensure that this powerful desire is kept alive. If there were to be one thing to be continually assessed it would be our cultivating of this desire…... With this in mind it is vital to me that our teachers provide relevant and rigorous curricula while continuously building strong relationships with our students.
As sub-school 5 principal, my objective is to teach, motivate, and empower teachers and students to maximize their educational potential by building strong relationships, communicating excellence and modeling sound instructional practices. My responsibilities will include supervising students with the last names beginning with the letters L-Q. In addition to supervising students, I will collaborate and provide instructional leadership to the Business, Marketing and HS Science departments.
I am excited about this new opportunity and look forward to helping our students and teachers achieved their highest potential.
