ACCESSING FCPS 24/7

Students and their parents can access these sites at http://fcps.blackboard.com any time on any computer that has an internet connection.

Letter to Parents about FCPS 24/7

New Students:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Type http://fcps.blackboard.com - (or go to the FCPS website at http://www.fcps.edu and click on the FCPS 24/7 icon located in the lower left corner)
  3. The FCPS 24 /7 screen will appear. Click on the Login button.
  4. Enter your FCPS student ID number as both your username and your password.
  5. Click on Login. You will be prompted to change your password as soon as you log in.
  6. There are 3 tabs near the top of the screen. Click on the Courses tab. A list of the student's FCPS 24/7 courses* will appear.

Current Students

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Type http://fcps.blackboard.com - (or go to the FCPS website at http://www.fcps.edu and click on the FCPS 24/7 icon located in the lower left corner)
  3. The FCPS 24 /7 screen will appear. Click on the Login button.
  4. At the Login screen, type in your username and password*.
  5. Click on Login
  6. There are 3 tabs near the top of the screen. Click on the Courses tab. A list of the student's FCPS 24/7 courses* will appear.

*NOTE: Only those courses which teachers are ready for students to view will appear. When they are ready, teachers make their courses available to their students. All teachers can reset any one of their students' password.

Parents

Parents can log into FCPS 24/7 using their student's username and password or they now have the opportunity to create an FCPS 24/7 learning account of their own. The parent's access into FCPS 24/7 Learning is called Parent View. The parent View account gives parents the opportunity to view their childrens' course information (that is, announcements, course syllabus and weekly assignments) online. Parent View accounts will also give parents access to other important features like weCare@schools. weCare@schools is the online system that allows parents to submit emergency care information for their children online.
